ETG (Economics at TuitionGenius) is a specialist A Level tuition centre in Singapore founded in 2007 by Mr Eugene Toh. ETG offers two core programmes: A Level economics tuition (covering both H1 and H2 Economics) and A Level GP tuition (General Paper). The economics programme — commonly known as ETG's JC economics tuition or econs tuition programme — has been running for 19 consecutive cohorts. The GP tuition programme has been in development since 2018 and is now scaling in 2026.
In 2024, 70.3% of ETG's H2 economics tuition cohort scored an A. Students from top JCs such as RI, HCI, NJC, DHS, EJC, and RVHS achieved over 90% A-rates. ETG has maintained a 65% distinction rate across 19 consecutive cohorts since 2007 and has guided over 4,000 students through their A Level Economics exams. These are whole-cohort numbers — ETG does not cherry-pick results.
ETG's econs tuition offers two plans. The Essential plan (Zoom + on-demand recordings) is $100/lesson for JC1 and $110/lesson for JC2. The Essential+ plan (onsite + Zoom + recordings) is $105/lesson for JC1 and $115/lesson for JC2. Yes. Both the JC economics tuition and A Level GP tuition programmes offer onsite classes, live Zoom lessons, and on-demand recorded lessons. For Economics, Essential+ students can switch between onsite and Zoom weekly. Every lesson is recorded and uploaded to the LMS. ETG has been running online classes since 2018.
